Our first session is all about getting to know each other. I will take the time to understand what brings you to therapy, your goals, and expectations, while you have the opportunity to share your story at your own pace. We will talk about the therapy process and my approach.

As we continue to meet, we will work collaboratively to build a trusting and comfortable relationship within the bounds of confidentiality. We will set meaningful therapy goals and develop a personalized plan to help you achieve them, moving at a pace that feels right for you.

With my expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I will guide you in recognizing the powerful connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. Most clients find that starting with weekly sessions provides the best consistency. As you progress and feel ready, we can discuss spacing out sessions to every other week or adjusting the frequency to best meet your needs.
